In Greene County district court Alexis Jean McCurdy, 20, of Coon Rapids was granted a deferred judgment Nov. 25 after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of possession of a fictitious license, ID, card or form. She was placed on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. She must pay a $430 civil penalty, restitution not to exceed $100 for her court appointed attorney’s fees, and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Andrew Vernon Wempe, 42, of Scranton pleaded not guilty Nov. 23 to charges of methamphetamine and child endangerment- substantial risk. A trial date was set for Jan. 27.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Camron O. Donatlan, 26, of Aurora, IL, is charged with possession of marijuana- second offense. The case was initiated Oct. 28, 2020. The warrant was served Nov. 5, 2025, in Lucas County.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Veronica Laine Ellsbury, 51, of Grand Junction, theft- third degree; and Donald Shannon Fishburn, 53, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault- injury or mental illness, two counts.
